Callaway to West Beach Drive

The center of Callaway is 6.0 miles and about 13 minutes from our kitchen. Tyndall Parkway in Callaway is 6.8 miles, about 14 minutes. The route runs west on SR 22 into downtown Panama City, then along US 98 Business to the water. Order ahead on Toast and it will be ready when you pull in.

It is a straight run across town, away from the beach traffic.

A plate lunch with a price you can read

Lunch is a meat and two sides for $13.99. Add a third side for $1.99. Fish with two sides is $15.99, and shrimp or a combo with two sides is $16.99. Any dessert can stand in as a side on the veggie plate, which is four sides for $12.50.

Fried chicken and country fried steak are on every weekday. The other meat follows the calendar: beef tips over rice on Monday, fried pork chop and meatloaf with tomato gravy on Tuesday, grilled pork steak on Wednesday, smoked pork chops on Thursday.

The sides that change by the day

Mashed potatoes and gravy, rice and gravy, baked macaroni and cheese and green beans are always on. The rest rotate. Monday has lima beans and black eyed peas. Tuesday has Cajun 15 beans and field peas and snaps. Wednesday has collard greens. Thursday has pinto beans and Brussels sprouts. Friday brings butter peas, baked beans, pea salad and cheese grits.
