Biscuits and gravy

This is the plate people drive across town for. The biscuits are made by hand every morning. The sausage gravy is made from scratch in the kitchen, never from a bag. A half order is one biscuit split and smothered for $5.99. A whole order is two biscuits for $7.99.

You can put a fried chicken filet or a country fried steak on a biscuit and smother that too. Both are on the menu.

The Lil Mama's Special is two eggs your way with grits and toast or a biscuit for $6.25. Add bacon, sausage, ham or country fried steak if you need more.

Country ham is sliced thin and cooked crisp. Cheese grits are buttery and cheesy, the way they should be. There is one big pancake, French toast, home fries with onions, and breakfast sandwiches on toast or a biscuit.

Fast when you need it

We open at 6:30 because people have to be at work. Most orders are out in about ten minutes, even with a few tickets ahead of yours. Order ahead on Toast if you want to walk in and walk out.

Breakfast ends at 10:30

The kitchen switches to lunch at 11. If you want biscuits and gravy, come before 10:30 on a weekday. On Saturday and Sunday we open at 9 with a brunch menu instead.
